ACCOUNTS• Periodical finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements including balance sheet, profit & loss account and statement of cash flows in accordance with IFRS and local corporate laws• Monitoring monthly bank reconciliation statement• Monitoring vendor reconciliations• Maintaining strong control over current dated and postdated cheques – PDCs• Provision of information and records to the auditors and coordination with them on account of different financial & accounting matters.• Maintained Fixed Assets Register of the Company and monitoring its updation.FINANCE• Dealing with banks for loans and lease requirements• Monitoring funds flow through fund flow statement to track fund position at any given time• Monitoring and overseeing seven multipurpose bank accounts• Maintaining correspondence with bankers on account of different financial matters• Dealing with banks on account of LC – Letter of Credit matters• Negotiation with banks over sight and usance LCs• Following up customers for pending acceptances and proceeds• Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and annual financial projections • Monitoring funds availability on any given date• Opening and closing corporate bank accounts through Board Resolution.• Dealing insurance Companies to insure all kind of assets of the Company.TAXATION• Monitoring monthly sales tax Returns, Annual Income Tax returns, Monthly statements and Advance Tax • Monitoring e –filing and hearing the cases before the sales tax and Income Tax authorities whenever notices are served to Company.• Filing appeal documents before appeal authorities whenever required.• Hearing of appeals at Tribunal level.

Core Responsibilities:• Analysis of finance facilities available and discounting Invoice documents. • Cash flow management with respect to Budgeting• Regular visits at factory and preparing reports regarding production variation, costing, stocks & cash counts, salary wages payments and verification of records at factory.• To assist manager internal audit in preparing reports, audit reviews, analysis of conclusion and recommendations and implementation of new/revised internal audit policies• Monitored Creditors accounts, their payments and reconciliation of parties’ ledgers periodically.• Monitored LC documents including sight and usance LCs.

Lead a team of 5 in the department of Tax and Corporate. The major job responsibilities were assessment of income of the Companies and Individuals and filing their returns.During this time period appeared before the honourable Income Tax appelate Tribunal and Commissionar of Income Tax for hearing of cases.
