I led end-to-end content management; developed and maintained a diverse pool of freelancers and sources; wrote, commissioned, edited, and proofread service articles, long-form features, newsletters, and timely quick hits; built stories in WordPress; set realistic deadlines and publish dates; tracked analytics to hone my editorial strategy; collaborated with senior editors and our social media team; attended monthly pitch meetings; wrote and edited branded content; and curated work that covers a wide range of LGBTQ+ experiences. During my first year in this position, I increased the subscriber base of Autostraddle's "More, Please!" newsletter by 1194%.

I wrote search engine optimized service articles, features, Q&As, and reviews with a focus on LGBTQ+ physical and mental health.

I commissioned, edited, and proofread articles for multiple series, including a series about the impact of COVID-19 on the LBGTQ+ community.

I built lesson plans and taught writing and performance skills to students of all ages and experience levels. Teaching credits include the Neo-Futurist Theater, About Face Theater, the University of Chicago, Northwestern University, DePaul University, the University of Michigan, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and Victory Gardens Theater.

I wrote, directed, and performed new work every week in Chicago's longest-running late night show, The Infinite Wrench; led and managed DEI initiatives; planned and executed fundraisers; prospected and cultivated donors; collected data for grant proposals; managed community-building initiatives like classes, workshops, and collaborations with other local theaters; represented the Neo-Futurists through speaking engagements and presentations; built and taught the first disability-informed curriculum for “Intro to Writing the Two Minute Play;” and co-wrote and co-starred in POP/WAITS, a full-length rock musical.
