As Senior Legislative Assistant, I served as part of a small team responsible for advancing the President's agenda in the House of Representatives. I conducted legislative research, developed background documents and briefing materials, monitored congressional activity, organized White House visits for members of Congress, and arranged congressional participation in official events and travel.

The Council on Environmental Quality advises the President, develops environmental policies and initiatives, provides support to federal agencies, coordinates federal implementation efforts, and oversees environmental reviews and permitting for infrastructure projects.As Special Assistant, I worked as part of a small team to advance the President's agenda in Congress. This involved regular engagement with congressional staff, federal agencies, stakeholder groups, and impacted communities on a wide range of topics; drafting public-facing content including congressional testimony, responses to congressional inquiries, and position statements on pending legislation; as well as conducting general legislative research for internal summaries, briefing materials, and weekly updates.

I led weekly meetings with local speakers, organized volunteer opportunities, held a legislative lobby at the State Capitol, and organized a fundraiser which raised over $5,000 from the local community.
