Responsible for all aspects of directing an education initiative focusing on birds of prey. Responsible for all husbandry of small collection of non-releasable birds and conducted education programs both on-site and in the community. As a teacher/naturalist, I was also responsible for teaching all courses at the center ranging from team building activities, geology, sustainable practices, ecology, and everything in between.

As a member of the Hueston Woods Student Naturalist Club (Miami University) we aided the nature center staff in all daily husbandry duties. The nature center housed a large collection of non-releasable birds of prey as well as native reptiles and mammals. I also aided the naturalists in conducting educational (formal and informal) presentations utilizing animals from the center both on-site and around the community.
