As a Heavy Plant Mechanic at Yass Valley Council, I maintain and repair various types of heavy machinery and vehicles, such as excavators, loaders, graders, and trucks. I perform diagnostic tests, troubleshoot issues, replace parts, and conduct routine inspections and services. I also ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards and regulations.I have over 9 years of experience in the mechanical industry, working with different types of engines, including petrol and diesel. I completed my Cert 3 in heavy commercial vehicle and mobile plant technology at Canberra Institute of Technology in 2017, where I also learned basic MIG welding skills. I have a full MR licence and a forklift licence, which enable me to operate and transport various equipment. I am passionate about delivering high-quality work and ensuring customer satisfaction.
