In 2013 I embarked on a traineeship which would result in a Cert III in Telecommunications, with BSA in New South Wales. While employed by BSA I worked the Foxtel and Optus platforms on customer's residence installing satellites, cabling (Internet, TV and telephones) and user devices. This role built in my technical trade skills as well as providing the opportunity to build strong customer relations and people skills which has continued to serve me throughout my career.In early 2015, I was employed by the Australian Defence Force, Army, as an Information Systems Technician. From my training I built on my existing technical skills as well as gaining mental toughness, extreme teamwork, moral courage and the will to win from my time as a recruit. After graduating from Kapooka, I was trained as a IT systems administrator where I undertook instructor led training in Windows 2012, CCNA 1 & 2 and other workplace specific courses. In my time in the army I have undertaken several Microsoft specific courses as well as CCNA 3 & 4. While working full-time I have been studying a Certificate IV in IT (40115) which is scheduled to be completed in June 2019.
