Business Intelligence Manager
CurrentAs the Business Intelligence Manager at VTG Defense, I guide a team to leverage data for strategic decisions, adhering to ASCEND principles: Advancement, Simplicity, Culture, Empowerment, Nurturing learning, Delivery.I champion Advancement by improving our BI capabilities and fostering a data-driven Culture. I streamline our BI strategies for Simplicity, creating user-friendly data models, reports, and dashboards, promoting broad comprehension across the organization.In empowering our teams with the tools and training to independently harness our BI systems, I support Empowerment. Part of my role involves Nurturing Learning, where I facilitate programs for my team to deepen their BI knowledge. Furthermore, I ensure the timely Delivery of BI projects, including design and implementation of data systems, data analyses, and insight reports.Alongside the Quickbase Governance Board, I oversee our Quickbase platform's efficient use and management. We make key decisions on system changes, user permissions, and data management, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.In this role, I've successfully merged the department's goals with VTG Defense's wider objectives, enhancing growth and success through the application of the ASCEND principles.
