The majority of my work with Clackamas County involves undertaking a sidewalk and curb ramp inventory of the County. This includes collecting location and quality data for all sidewalks and curb ramps within the County. This information is being used to prioritize improvement projects and to help understand the current condition of County owned facilities. Other responsibilities include developing a grant tracking system to help organize planning grant applications and various analysis work.

Alongside Dr. Figliozzi, in the Civil & Environmental Engineering department, I study TriMet bus data. I developed a research paper that looked at using high resolution bus data to examine congestion along urban arterial streets in Portland, Oregon. My research also includes examining the potential of using buses as probes to measure traffic speeds along roadways, and comparing bus data with stationary sensor data.
