Release Deployment Engineers are responsible of the technical activities in release deployments to customer environments, and perform testing and validation to ensure quality of deployments. My main responsibilities included analyzing and configuring corporate services on the network (VPN, Integra). Recently I automated certain configuration processes in order to perform mass migrations significantly more effectively and trained both my superiors and colleagues to use the automation tool. As a result, manual work was significantly cut and mass migrations that are part of our daily work became 20 times faster. Languages used: JavaScript, Visual Basic, Ansible.For the two first years I worked on a Metro network renovation project, programming the migration of fixed broadband equipment (DSLAM, and NGN) to new available networks (Huawei Cx600 equipment). As part of that, I coordinated different teams’ work (technical personnel, data configurators, voice and data transfer personnel) and more than one million clients were shifted over to a better network.
