– Responsible for the positioning of First Data Corporation (FDC) as the global technology leader in point of sale delivery of financial services. Responsible for all aspects of the “FDC Proprietary Point of Sale Project” ranging from vendor selection, device development, host connectivity and development, wide-area-network development and terminal configuration and support. This initiative required the development of several new processes across various FDC business units, with a goal of implementing efficiencies and best practices across all units. Additionally, the product of this initiative serves as the enabler for new product and service opportunities across FDC. Responsible for ensuring the product meets all major product investment criteria. Instrumental in creating and shaping the vision and global strategy for the First Data Line of Point of Sale devices across all of FDC. • Creation of the vision and rollout of FD Line of POS Products (FD100, FD 300, FD 200, FD 50 , FD 400).• Negotiator and Business Owner of the FDC contract over FDC Common POS (FD Line). This line of business represents over $100 Million dollars a year. (The most successful product with over 3.5 million devices in the field and 1 Billion in revenue to FDC). • Created a strategy around Eclipse for FDC that included the End of Life of the product and roll out of a replacement product the FD200, this initiative saved FDC $1.5 million yearly.• Concord Synergy / Terminal Procurement Savings Project – Recognized $9.38 Million in savings to FDC• Creation and support of TASQ OEM Pricing Matrix• Created TASQ two page Purchase Order agreement for small vendors• Created large major vendor TASQ contract template

Responsible for day-to-day ownership and strategic direction of FDMS Point of Sale platform. Including all contractual ownership with individual Point of Sale vendors e.g. Hypercom, Verifone, and others. Business owner and strategic planning of FDMS Ideal Business-to-Business EDI gateway. Business owner of FDMS’ American Express, Diners Club, JCB, and Discover contractual relationship. Built a team to meet clients / partners needs from a business and product standpoint over Point of Sale, Debit and Electronic Benefits Transactions (EBT).

Merchant System Owner responsible for strategic planning of front-end solutions, new business solutions, credit card association regulation releases, all implementation support, all client liability escalation’s, product development systems interface, year 2000 technical owner.
