The following year he founded the LC at the University of Michigan and, after one year as LCP, he chaired the 1964 National AIESEC Conference. He was elected National Committee President of AIESEC US for two terms during 1964-66 and was elected International AIESEC Councilor for several years after that. With a set of coherent strategies, he led AIESEC-US to an increase from 47 to 72 LCs and from 362 to 525 incoming exchanges and an equal number of outgoing exchanges. The total of 1,050 business traineeship exchanges stands as one of AIESEC-US’ best years.
