-Reports to the Global CEO at PRN and is responsible for providing leadership at CNW -Oversees the strategic direction and operational activities across Canada-250+ direct staff at CNW and 70+ direct staff in US within Inside Sales & Post Sales Support Team-Execute responsibilities in the following areas (including, but not limited to): Leadership, Strategy, Operations, Programs, Compliance, Employee Management, Media/External Relations and Financial Performance-Active participation in PR, IR, Marketing and Media industry events and associations serving as President/CEO in Canada and networking with industry leaders in person and in social media effectively being the brand ambassador in Canada-Develops and maintain a team structure which includes various departments from Sales, Finance, Product, Media Relations, Research, Operations, Client Services, IT, Marketing with clearly defined roles and responsibilities focused on the overall work scope-Leading and managing the sales strategy of high growth through direct sales and partnerships-Personally cultivates and closes key accounts and strategic partners through prospecting and relationship management -Effectively oversees the impact of external factors on the organization’s financial performance -Ensures proper accounting and legal structures and processes are in place for the organization and oversees compliance adherence-Creates and implements marketing initiatives that support the go-to-market plan-Advances the vision, mission and core values of CNW

Responsible for the product portfolio and all product management activities, including: -driving the vision and roadmaps-strategy feature definition -product planning-enhancing our offerings-introduction of new products into the marketplace-further integrating our products and meeting the changing needs of our clients -and, positioning for all aspects of Product Management on a global basis

-Member of the senior management team for Canada's leading newswire provider.-Lead a 159-member multi-functional team, including 7 Directors and 12 Managers that make up the Product Management Group and six different Operational units in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.-Responsible for growing revenues by creating and launching product offerings that extended the communication cycle for clients and responsible for managing a number of core products and channels. This extended from increasing the profitability of existing products to developing new products for the company. Products were created and developed based on industry experience and contact with existing and potential customers.
