Salutations,I am Crime Prevention Specialist and practitioner in addition to being a hostage/crises negotiator. I have been in law enforcement for 12 years serving in a variety of positions to include, patrol, homeland security liaison officer, power shift officer, honor guard member, bicycle officer, police recruiter, and also a Department of Criminal Justice (DCJS) general instructor. I left local law-enforcement and was an operational coordinator for the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security and focused on internal security at our embassies and consulates. During that time, I worked with the Marine Corps and U.S. Department of State to help facilitate an increase on security measures at our facilities.I have served in both the Army National Guard and the Marine Corps Reserve. I have an infantry and explosives background and spent many hours focusing on security measures, target hardening, and training. I have deployed several times in my career with the military.I have the privilege of working along side several other members of the Roanoke Police Department to educate the public on topics to include target hardening, active threat training, work place violence and readiness.

I acted as a liaison between the D.O.S. and D.O.D, U.S.M.C. personnel on expeditious deployments of the newly created MSAU. I liaised with DS Couriers on a daily basis to ensure the proper regulation, procedures and protocol is followed. I monitored/analyzed weaknesses in the program, pinpointed responsibility/culpability, and recommended corrective action as appropriate.
