I work directly with the Commander to maintain a high level of readiness of a company of 210 soldiers as the Company Executive Officer. Maintain communications to stay up to date on the company morale, and any outside situations that could interfere with training or the health of the soldiers. I also oversee the maintenance of government equipment and vehicles. I am also tasked as Unit Movement Officer, in charge of planning any logistics involved in the movements and deployment of the unit. This involves making sure that all equipment was mission ready, staging equipment, and planning the route. I am also responsible for coordinating all outside logistics, fuel, and work/rest cycles for troops, and equipment staging during the mobilization. This responsibility also calls for coordination of any and all necessary railcar or intermodal equipment that might be needed for the movement and transport of soldiers and equipment. Serving as the Battalion Safety Officer, I am placed in charge of the safety and risk management of all operations. I am responsible for compliance of all OSHA and Army Regulation to standard for safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental safety for the Battalion. I have also completed monthly facility checks and given quarterly briefs to the Command on all findings and shortcomings. I am also tasked to write up all risk management reports before operations and training exercises. Brief command on findings of risks, plans to implement controls for said risks, and update command on plans of how to mitigate risks to an acceptable level for the operations.

I am responsible for the North Georgia Market. I am in charge of finding new clients with any current shipping, uncovering potential for savings and increased shipping. I then set them up with our shipping partners. I am responsible for addressing all shipping needs from small package, LTL, Full truckload, intermodal, and international shipping. I am also in charge of maintaining relationships with all accounts that I brought on with Unishippers. I have become the top freight account sales/accounts manager, within my first year.
