I help leaders and teams to deal well with people to remove stress and increase profitability.Maximising performance for you, your leaders, or your team, starts with knowing your current position. With good coaching you can develop goals, utilise opportunities and push past obstacles to get where you want to be. As a trainer, facilitator and coach, I love journeying with people, particularly in small Scottish companies, to assist them as they grow and develop. Many years of working in training and development settings allow me to provide learning and experiences that help people achieve their potential. My coaching with teams is influenced by my love of games and practical tasks which make current reality more obvious . With expert reviewing and reflection, it soon becomes clear what changes need to be made and which steps should be taken. The experiential nature of how I work also assists in cementing learning to make the changes sustainable. I work outdoors wherever possible because the act of stepping outdoors helps people to relax; being away from the work environment allows them to be more objective as they assess reality and consider future possibilities. Certified to use the GameChanger Index, DISC-based personality instruments and Neuro Linguistic Programming techniques, I also employ a variety of other media for learning, particularly through people being active, modelling good behaviour and skills for themselves.I am fully qualified and insured to work outdoors with people in a variety of settings. On top of that, my skills in sailing, canoeing and mountaineering can be used to enhance learning and make it not only memorable but fun too. My specialities are in team and leadership development - interpersonal skills - for groups and individuals, particularly focussing on SMEs in the technical sectors as well as churches and NPOs.
