• Participated in release cycles for www.gettyimages.com, these included running automated cutover tests and making triage decisions when errors occur. • As a member of an agile/lean development team, fixed code defects and developed website code as need arises. • Fostered incremental changes to our agile processes that led to increased velocity, better collaboration and quality of code our group released. • Led the effort to move to a continuous delivery model in our agile teams, using Anthill Pro with our build and test automation. The goal was to never be more than a dev/testing cycle away from fixing any issue that came up. • An active member of the working group to drive up the quality of the automation framework developed internally at Getty Images.

• Led six offshore resources to build and execute our automated regression test suite. • Doubled overall coverage of our test suite in the first 3 months as a Lead. • Our coverage improvements and daily executions led to a 30% reduction in our defects before we moved in to our formal user acceptance testing phase. • Evaluated and then led the team to build a new test framework based on WatiN, the framework help keep our coverage levels high and overall execution times low. • Led the effort to build a data lookup tool that reduced our data acquisition times. The tool was a self service tool that allowed end users to use a web front end to look up data stored in our Hogan test databases.• Built data conditioning tools that reduced our data acquisition time from 3 weeks down to 4 days. • Helped negotiate our offshore contract from time and materials to a managed service saving our team time and money. • Contributed to over 16 major release of wamu.com as well as the fastest bank merger in history, wamu.com to chase.com.

Setup and maintained test lab machines for automated testing of Visual Studio component installs on various operating system and hardware configurations. Built and maintained a C# automation framework that was utilized in automated setup testing. Framework was used by automated tests to validate files installed/uninstalled and registry settings. Tests scheduled to run overnight with results emailed each morning. Participated in one hour interview loops to interview and evaluate new employees.

Worked with the build manager to ensure the weekly builds and overall build processes were solid and consistent. Wrote notification and logging engine that was used by our Business Framework workflow engine, the engine was used to track problems and notify users when important steps occurred or end user actions were needed. Learned and then lead our team through software security training. The training included how to create threat models and best practices for writing secure code.Shipped two versions of the Microsoft Business Portal software.Built tools to ease the migration of 1.0 version of data to 2.0 version of the product, this tool used my knowledge of the Business Framework, XML, and XSL to transform the data into the new versions.
