Served as a public safety and security subject matter expert and proposal writer for Tritech's (formerly Tiburon) Records Management Systems (RMS), and Technical Operations/Implementation services. Conducted research and provided sales-oriented proposal-ready answers in response to Requests for Proposal, Information, and Qualifications (RFP, RFI, RFQ). Developed and maintained a library of hardcopy and electronic functional resources pertaining to Tiburon's software solutions, implementation, and technical services. Office of Community Oriented Policing ServicesOffice of Grants AdministrationSupervised over 300 grants from three states for the $8.8 billion federal grant program—Community-Oriented Policing Services (C.O.P.S). Monitored the use of federal grant funds for each grant recipient and ensured fulfillment of all grant requirements. Analyzed and reviewed grant proposals. Met with elected officials and law enforcement executives to discuss their grant proposals. Reviewed budgets submitted by grantees then consulted with the grantees to resolve discrepancies. Assisted in the development of annual and bi-annual progress reports for grantees and coordinated the data collection of those reports. Represented the COPS Office at national conferences of law enforcement organizations.
