Spearhead compliance and policy audits of 17 properties in Virginia, South Carolina and Florida, specifically Section 42 of the Internal Revenue Code. Maintain up-to-date information through yearly state seminars. Analyze prospective resident files to make certain all requirements are fulfilled before move-in. Oversee re-certification of resident files to verify continued adherence to corporate and State agency policies. Champion risk mitigation efforts, and advise on best practices for quick, effective corrective actions when needed. Travel to sites to provide training to staff to ensure they are adhering to the most current requirements. Lead audit preparations for State and syndicator audits. Prepare response letters for all State and syndicator audits. Communicate with site owners, asset managers & State agencies regarding status of all sites through monthly reports and conference calls.
