I am a business and systems architect with skills in the military aircraft and information systems domain leading a team providing services on a consultancy basis to projects within BAE Systems and developing architecture solutions in the MooD toolset. I have worked for BAE Systems for 40 years in range of capacities and a number of different divisions.Prior to my role as an architect I worked as a Strategy Manager in the Defence Information part of the business. During my time as a strategy professional I have completed courses in Strategic Analysis and Consultancy and whilst I have functioned as an expert without team leader responsibilities during this time the role requires the coordination of team members throughout the business at all levels of management. Furthermore, my previous roles in engineering saw me perform delivery team leader roles.I have been intimately involved in the business planning process, the development of the strategy and the sign off of wider strategic plans and have become familiar with working with senior board members.Prior to my role in strategy I have worked as an engineering professional and manager working on the displays and controls, cockpit design and off board mission systems of a range of air platforms including Harrier, Tornado, Typhoon, Variuos UAV programmes as well as roles within R&T and an Anglo / French JV.
