I am a seasoned electrician with over a decade of practical, on-the-job experience. In addition to a formal apprenticeship, I've had the opportunity to oversee manpower as a foreman in different divisions of the field including new construction, maintenance, renovations, and commercial service upgrades.I've transitioned into office roles as a project manager/estimator. It's been smooth as ever; the hurdles that field personnel encounter were my passions in my teenage years while I was building computers and learning to program. I've made it my mission to simplify arduous, everyday tasks into intuitive APIs in an effort to raise productivity and keep my mind satisfied while I navigate the beauty of building. I have the pleasure of being a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 26. I fell short of being the valedictorian of my class, but treated the apprenticeship like everything else that I do. Local 26 engrained in me many of the skills that I take far beyond the classroom. Among them are craftsmanship, integrity, safety, social awareness, and productivity. My career focus has always been driven by hands-on experience with electrical systems as it is one of my biggest passions. Engineering has become more attractive as my position allows me to work in depth with the peripheral components of the different commercial systems. This is where I grasp the opportunity to get my ears pinned back a bit more in that respect and expand even farther in my field. It feels good to be able to say that I am just as passionate as I was my first day as an apprentice. Staying abreast of the ever-changing industry makes for a challenging, yet gratifying adventure.
