As the first face guests see when entering the residence building, this role focuses greatly on providing excellent customer service and access control to ensure the safety of all residents, staff, and guests. Connecting residents and guests with additional on-campus services, tracking packages and managing guest sign-ins are all key day-to-day tasks to provide residents with the most valuable experience during their time at Ryerson University.

This role involves working alongside the Ryerson Residence Marketing team, and offering additional support for developing content and marketing materials. These materials include print, website and digital materials via the official Housing website. Further, this role entails monitoring and maintaining social media accounts, to create engaging content for existing and potential future residents.

Chosen to support incoming first-year students with their transition into the Ryerson University community. Primary role of acting as a role-model by providing personal, academic and professional support for students. Assisting with questions, concerns and connecting students to appropriate resources. Also engaged with event-planning and running sessions with mentees to help them develop their professional portfolios and to provide them with exciting, new opportunities.

This mentorship program helps facilitate International and Exchange students' transitions to Toronto, and Ryerson University. With a variety of networking events and opportunities, this program allows me to provide valuable insight and share personal experiences in order to provide students with the true TRSM experience. As a mentor, I am responsible for developing connections with students, providing high-level support, and connecting them to resources.

Frontline member of the Student Engagement and Leadership (SEAL) Team. Responsible for ensuring the Student Learning Centre (SLC) is a "world-class learning destination" by providing high-quality customer service, guiding tours, and assisting in the buildings daily operations through regular roams. This role requires a high level of communication, through internal communication apps, radio's and emails as well as face-to-face with patrons and coworkers.

As a senior student, this position allows me to provide both guidance and support to first-year and transitioning students at Ryerson University. By sharing my own experiences, and directly referring students to other services, I am able to contribute towards making their experience at Ryerson as smooth as possible, and one to remember. This position also allows me to develop my own networking and professional skills such as leadership and communication.
