Profile bio

About Arindam Bose

Arindam is dedicated to studying early-phase cancer development and deciphering the mechanism of chemotherapeutic resistance. He is passionate about drug-discovery and clinical-research leading to improved healthcare and effective disease management to ultimately improve the lives of people affected by cancer. Arindam is a cross-disciplinary trained scientist with extensive experience in translational cancer research integrating basic cancer research discovery with experimental therapeutics and clinical trials in high-risk adults with solid tumors. Currently, he is spearheading the spatial omics research operation at the Leica Microsystems and investigating how tissue dynamics vary within their specific and unique spatial context. He is actively studying how protein multiplexing could help understand disease heterogeneity in a quantitative fashion. This expression mapping will help compartmentalize unique biological profiles, identify new biomarkers, and investigate clear-cut relationship between biological response vs cellular juxtaposition. Arindam believes this new approach of single-cell multi-omic profiling, combined with spatial assay platforms will provide revolutionary opportunity to strategize personalized medicine. Clinical translations of spatial omics research in precision oncology will lead to improved healthcare by predicting the best course of cancer therapy to foster effective disease management.

Listed skills include Nmr, Western Blotting, Pcr, Uv/Vis, and 31 others.
