I work as a Senior Backend Engineer on the development of a platform that aims to revolutionize the air cargo industry. By connecting freight forwarders and airlines, cargo.one allows searches and instant booking resulting in a substantial cost saving and potentiating business.Working on the design, development, and monitoring of our micro-services platform, I also collaborate with product managers to translate product needs into the right technical specifications. Working as a Backend Software Engineer on the design, development, and deployment of the next generation Connectivity Management Tool for Loadsensing Platform.Loadsensing is the global leader for connecting and wirelessly monitoring infrastructures in remote locations, allowing mining and construction companies to diminish risks and reduce operational costs by providing real-time information on their assets. As part of an agile and collaborative team, my main responsibilities are:• Participate in the software architecture design of a micro-services distributed platform.• RabbitMQ based AMQP API definition.• Build and maintain REST API services using Flask and PostgresSQL.• Integration with third party IoT networks.• Support to DevOps for production deployments using Docker and Google Cloud Compute.• Unit testing using Pytest and product documentation.• Support to Customer Success team for troubleshooting and end-to-end testing.
