Pamela Kenn is the Red Sox Senior Vice President of Community, Alumni and Player Relations for the Boston Red Sox, overseeing community outreach for the club, as well as the team's interaction with current and former players and coaches since 2015. Prior to her promotion, Pam served three seasons as Senior Director of Public Affairs, with oversight of community, player and alumni relations, as well as publications, photography and archives. From November 2008-January 2013, Pam was the club’s Director of Media Relations and was the day-to-day baseball public relations contact, handling all baseball-related press conferences, announcements and requests for uniformed personnel.Throughout her time at the Red Sox, Pam’s passion has been managing the relationships between the organization and its former players and staff. She has been integral in putting together events such as team reunions, uniform number retirements, Hall of Fame induction ceremonies, and other special occasions featuring Red Sox alumni. Pam was also a key participant in the creation of Autograph Alley and the Legends Suite at Fenway Park, and chairs the Red Sox Hall of Fame selection committee.Pam originally joined the Red Sox as an intern in June 2000 and received her B.S. in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2001. In April 2012, she was presented with an inaugural Alumni-on-the-Rise Award, presented by the Mark H. McCormack Department of Sport Management to those who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in the sport industry while also giving back to program with their time and resources.Since 2014, Pam has served on the Board of Trustees for the Sports Museum and in 2023 joined the Board of Samaritans, Inc., a nonprofit organization specializing in suicide prevention. In 2019, Pam was a participant in Lead Boston, a leadership program through the historic YW Boston, an organization aimed at eliminating racism and empowering women. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the Roxbury YMCA and as well as the Advisory Council of the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts.Pam and her husband, Russ, their daughter, Holly, and son, Ryan, reside in Braintree, MA.
