Leadership in innovative solutions to solving some of higher education's toughest challenges. Right now, we are working on Complete Florida, which is a legislatively funded initiative to develop and implement the system to support the 2.2 million adults in Florida that have some college and no degree. We are also working on developing a new Cybersecurity Center that provides heavy interdisciplinary and experiential opportunities for students that is critically connected to the community.

Responsibilities include:College Dean of Several high impact programs at the University of West Florida. Leadership in Distance Learning most recently working on degree completion and reducing the cost of higher education through distance learning; Prior Learning Assessments, Competency based educationNational Flight Academy leadership through partnership with the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation; NFA curriculum development in partnership with TEQGames at Universal StudiosAcademic Technology Center. Designs and Develops all online learning for the university. Delivers extensive faculty development, most notably Studio e.Online Campus. Delivers online learning to 26% of all enrollments on campus.Continuing Education. Delivers all non-credit and some credit workshops, courses, seminars, conferences and certificate programs for the university. Notable accomplishments are Summer Youth Camps and the IT Academy.Research in the area of mobile learning design through partnerships with the US Navy, development and implementation of education on mobile learning devices.

I truly enjoy being a professor! Since I am not teaching many classes these days, I miss the engagement with students, working on dissertation committees and strong commitment to research.
