I am a highly motivated Engineer with a Bachelor of Science & Engineering Degree in electrical engineering at the University of Connecticut along with a minor in mathematics. When I first joined the UConn School of Engineering, my primary interest was electrical engineering because I found the idea of working with the root of technology, or in other words, the hands on experience in designing circuits, very interesting. My interests grew further into power electronics and smart grid innovation through my internship at Eversource Energy as well as my research position at the Power Electronics & Drives Advanced Laboratory at UConn. Through my experience, I gained a lot of insight on the fundamentals of electrical engineering including digital logic design, electrical circuits design, signal & systems, electromagnetic fields & waves, power electronics, communication systems, electronic device design, VLSI design, VDHL as well as optical engineering and much more. Furthermore, my experience also helped me elevated my skills in time management, organization, problem solving, critical thinking and communication. Outside of school and work I am a volunteer for the BAPS Organization focused in serving the Hindu community as well as countries suffering through natural disasters. I also enjoy playing basketball and lacrosse as well as Photography. I hope to apply my educational and professional background to an engineering role in a corporation that will take full advantage of my technical and nontechnical skills in order further company growth.
