Technician charged with the responsibilities of maintenance and repair of 3 CAE Astars and 2 Link/L-3 Legacy Helicopter Flight Simulator/Trainer Systems. As a Flight Simulator Technician II necessary applications and technical expertise of Computer Systems and Information Systems Engineers along with Information Technology skills and tasks are often required for both Flight Simulator maintenance and repair. These skills along with Mechanical Technical skills in hydro-mechanical, Hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems are all necessary in the maintenance and repair of the Flight Simulators Visual, Motion, Vibration and Audio systems.

Air-Crewmember , once personally responsible as the direct supervisor of 21 employees, aircraft technicians and Flight Crewmembers while managing aircraft maintenance of specially modified MH-60 (Black Hawk) series helicopters for The US Army’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. Additional appointments within DynCorp’s Team 10-16 have been as a Crew Leader, Technical Inspector, and Aircraft Technician. Exercising knowledge and maintenance procedures in all areas of aircraft maintenance. Aircraft Computer Systems - Extensive experience with maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, reprogramming and replacing these highly modified systems and their sub-components to include but not limited to: Digital Automatic Flight Control Systems DACSs, Multi Function Displays MFDs, Pilot Display Units PDUs, Digital Electronic control Units DECUs. Extensive experience with the US Army’s automated log book and computer systems ELAS and more recently ULLSA-E. Thorough hands on experience along with extensive experience with system troubleshooting and repair to include file replacing, system migrating, minor programming repairs, component repairs/replacement.
