Instructor--Classroom And Online
I created and taught an undergrad course called Children's Literacies. Course experience culminated in an Alternate Reality Game--a multi-platform form of story telling that utilized Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter, Academia.edu, email and text messages working together to tell a comprehensive story.I revised this course for online instruction in Fall 2016. The content was ideally suited to creating a highly interactive online course.I also created and taught a course called Children at Christmas, a multi-media examination of how children participate in the celebration and creation of Christmas in books, movies, TV shows, music, and trips to the Mall.
