I became intrigued about logistics, accounting, bookkeeping, and finance through the teachings of my grandfather. He helped instill a passion for teaching, training, and problem-solving that has carried into my professional life and career. I enjoy mentoring others and serving a “lead by example” philosophy to those I work alongside. I firmly believe that professionalism in a work environment is best shown by its leadership team. As a leader, I’ve always accepted my share of the blame and less than my share of the credit. I have been known for operating away from the spotlight, accepting difficult tasks without complaints, and directing to my subordinates any praise given to my department. External clients have appreciated my finesse and personal interest in helping resolve issues, regardless of their scope. I have a strong ability to learn, adapt quickly and absorb large amounts of information which have helped me excel in my career and the organizations I serve.
