My Computer Science degree and time spent as an Embedded Software Engineer at Boeing are foundational to my technical expertise in computer hardware and software. Over the past decade, I have continued developing technical expertise by working for numerous world-leading clients on a variety of their cutting-edge technologies, including technologies for AMD, eBay, Dexcom, Adobe, and Microsoft.As a founder of FIG. 1, I envision breaking the mold to deliver something new and different to patent law. Something more like a startup than a law firm. FIG. 1 is built on the notion that if the business is optimized from the ground up—from the people to the business processes to the physical building itself—to focus on patent preparation and prosecution, then FIG. 1 can be the best patent law firm in the world.I also serve as President of the Board of Advisors at Gonzaga Law School, was a back-to-back-to-back Super Lawyers Rising Star (2019-2021), and am one of the founders of Farmgirlfit, a gym designed specifically for women.I have become a hobbyist pitmaster and enjoy smoking meat on my Big Green Egg.
