Duties involve help running a new fully automated factory, containing CISCO hardware, & Siemens S7 software. Previously, I was involved in all aspects of clerical administration, including IT administrator, and the setting up of a new IT system (network installation and setup of software including accounting systems), and concrete batching plant control.

This was a web development position, which duties included site maintenance, and development. The web site belonged to a large Irish Sports Organisation, and involved close working relations with the customer on site. The site was written in HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, & AJAX (jQuery).

This included the tracking and verification of software and hardware on a customer computer network. This evolved the creation of complex SQL search queries through DB2 and websphere, while maintaining close business relations with the customer.

This included the localisation testing of PC and Console games, including bug recognition, logging and their resolution. The creation and maintenance of test matrices. Conducting of ‘release checks’ of a title prior to it being released for manufacture. The work involved meeting very strict deadlines. Some of the games worked on include Age Of Mythology.
