A branding and strategic communications specialist, he has been Communications and External Relations lead with Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board since 2016, where he guided the authority's successful rebranding, positioning, brand activation, marketing strategy and development of new websites for both its Further Education and Training Division and the corporate body.He previously spent a career break with a branding and marketing agency as Head of Marketing Communications. Prior to this, he held positions as Public Relations Officer with City of Limerick VEC and Limerick College of Further Education (now both part of Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board). He co-founded the Media Department in the college in 2005, delivered modules extensively in media, business and ICT, was responsible for the development and launch of a 24/7 online radio station at the college in 2011 and led a project to update its brand identity and launch a new 4-year strategic plan in 2014.With a background in media, marketing and public relations, Patrick previously worked for over 14 years in the Irish radio industry with stations in the Wireless Group and was launch producer with Newstalk.
