An industry leader with extensive design and construction experience, Patrick Judd leads CIS's Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) Studio and assists with QA/QC and program oversight of GSI best practices. CIS is a national leader in urban infrastructure/greening programs, having overseen the implementation of hundreds of green stormwater infrastructure projects totaling nearly $450 million across the Mid-Atlantic, Great Lakes and West Coast regions.As the GSI Studio leader, Patrick is engaged on a variety of initiatives such as CIS’s engagement on a Washington DC area Capital Bikeshare program in which he oversees design and construction of couple dozen GSI best practices around the city, and on USEPA funded contracts that provide technical assistance to underserved communities that are looking for climate resilience solutions.In addition to his role at CIS, Patrick serves in a whole host of leadership roles that include being the President of Michigan Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects, as the Co-chair of the Great Lakes Commission’s Green Infrastructure Champions Advisory Team, as a Board Member of the Southeast Michigan Sustainable Business Forum, and as a part of U.S. Green Building Council - Detroit's Sustainable Detroit Forum Conference Committee.Patrick is a Board Member Emeritus of the Wildflower Association of Michigan, on Advisory Committee for Lansing Community College’s Landscape Architecture Program, and has been a guest lecturer on a range of topics including: green stormwater infrastructure, high-performance sustainable sites and regenerative landscape design, natural systems restoration and management/stewardship. Patrick has also participated in and delivered lectures outside of the United States such as at the International Wetland Conference at Tainan University, Taiwan, as well as for city planning officials for Taipei, Taiwan.
