As part of my internship, I was responsible for loading in and assembling artist or band audio, video, lighting, and staging under the coordination of road crew's technicians. I was taught fundamentals of PA systems, running audio, video, and Ethernet cables on and off stage, safely securing cables, truss, lighting fixtures, and properly testing communication links between spotlight operators and front of house. I was also expected to maintain cleanliness of backstage walkways, stage floor, and assisting green room hospitality. Loading out artist or bands from venue after event and preparing venue for next event by cleaning stage floor and green room. Strike platforms, lighting fixtures, audio and lighting cables, and spotlights if operated during event.

Administrative duties included opening and closing procedures, office supply and ticket stock inventory, updating call logs and office spreadsheets, and assisting manager and supervisors with any tasks that are requested from staff.
