Production artist for a leading private label cosmetic manufacturer. In this position I managed and ran the graphics department by myself. I was responsible for the design, creation, editing and maintenance of a wide variety of custom art files for cosmetic clients utilizing a variety of print and digital mediums. These included the design and production of custom cosmetic container/packaging labels+silkscreen, literature for both print and digital uses. I worked well with and frequently communicated between multiple departments. I was responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the in-house equipment within my department including digital printers and various finishing machines. Responsible for the compiling and sharing of status reports, creating, sending and receiving a variety of proof approval forms. Management of own schedule, keeping track of multiple projects and being adaptive to any needed changes in projects and/or priorities. Liaised and kept a working rapport with many outside vendors. Worked on and developed my level of Spanish speaking to be able to converse to more of my fellow workers.
