Goal: To utilize my experience and expertise to obtain a job in the chemical testing or biology industry with a successful company to allow me to further my knowledge of chemistry and biology, further my knowledge of organic compounds and their properties, develop into a valuable member of a team through cooperation and leadership, and advance the expertise of the company through research.Currently, I am working as an Field Service Technician, and I graduated from Trine University in 2023 with a degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Chemistry. I have experience working in chemical labs such as Accurate Analytical Testing in the wet chemistry lab and NSL Analytical in the balance room to help out and gain experience. Further, I use communication skills by calling and emailing customers about samples and possible deviations in paperwork or labeling. I also have communication experience from my customer oriented jobs I have had in the past such as my time with Meijer and The Nest/The Treehouse. I pride myself on having a customer first mindset, and a will to serve and work, no matter the circumstances. In my personal life, I am a proud owner of a dog and 2 cats who make my days brighter. I have taken up many hobbies such as woodworking, and fixing and rebuilding thrifted furniture. I have used this skill to build archways, door frames, fences, joinery joists and joints, tables, engraved rimmed drink coasters, and many other projects. I have used these skills to build many different things and learned how to use many different tools in the process. I have transferred this over to metal working and have done some projects relating to this as well. I have also done small work on cars, but nothing major. I also have built 2 different PCs from scratch, and have a large knowledge of computer related technology. I also have taken up flight and driving simulators for fun, as I love the engineering and excitement of race cars and jets. (Two things I cannot afford currently at 24 unless I hit the lottery) I love keeping myself busy with projects, and love finding a new thing to keep my hungry to learn brain satisfied. I was a Biochemistry major in a professional engineering fraternity, and I have always had a love for building and making thing since I was a child. I fit right in with the engineers and always found a way to be useful to my new found brothers. I hope to bring these experiences and skills to the workplace, and continue to grow my skills and knowledge of the world.
