Coaching And Mentoring ProgramSchool Business Managers Association Of Queensland Jun 2016 - Jun 2019Queensland, AustraliaThe highly successful SBMAQ Coaching and Mentoring Program has been running for 2 and a quarter years and during this time we have interacted with 130 committed Business Managers as participants in the program who have needed some assistance in their very busy roles. The Coaching, support and Mentoring provided has been wide and varied to these business leaders. Much of this work has been undertaken with the support of school Principals and has shown that Relationships are the key in any work situation. Whilst this doesn't always resolve an issue it places participants in the best position to negotiate an outcome if there is an existing good relationship with those they work with.I am pleased to say there have been great results achieved for participants as we work our way through the issues and pitfalls of the day to day BM roles in schools.

Workforce Planning ManagerDepartment Of Education And Training (Queensland) Apr 2015 - Aug 2016Brisbane, AustraliaFollowing the successful Year 7 transition to High School an opportunity exists to build on previous Workforce Planning strategies identifying, co-ordinating, building and developing tools and resources. School Principal's and Leadership teams at present are not afforded the opportunity to plan, build and develop their workforce needs beyond a 12 month cycle with any co-ordinated approach. What do Queensland schools look like in 3 to 5 to 10 years time? What skills, capabilities and competencies will our workforce require to meet the demands of students in an ever changing world? My mission is to create the opportunity for school leaders to work in conjunction with their Regional Human Resources Consultants to plan 1 to 3 to 5 years and beyond understanding workforce need, supply and demand issues and opportunities to grow our current employees. This is an exciting time to work in this space and I am determined to deliver positive outcomes for schools, staff and the students in Queensland state schools. -
