About Paul V.

Hey there! I'm Paul! I currently live in Portland, Oregon and enjoy partnering with smart and humble people, to create software experiences that delight and benefit their customers. Let's be honest, most software isn't working for all users. I've made it my mission to highlight these failures, in order to make products and experiences awesome, instead of just ... "meh".My perspective on software products has grown from my analytical and technical background, merged with my own personal desire for simple and efficient solutions to problems. I'm serious about analytics. Gathering data and using it to determine how end-users interact with their device of choice, is my specialty.I feel at home in an environment where I can solve problems with quantifiable information to back up assumptions and estimates. I prefer smaller, tight-knit teams with less red-tape that encourage collaborative, creative problem solving to execute on a clear and actionable vision. I pick up new things quickly (software, business processes), with little hand-holding needed. I bring curiosity, flexibility, collaboration and most importantly, no ego, to every project; I also expect the same of my co-workers. I work best in an environment of curious collaborators who appreciate data, understand the technology they are working with, and are first and foremost concerned about their customer.

Listed skills include Product Management, Analytics, A/B Testing, Web Analytics, and 15 others.
