Before the Enterprise Solutions Architect position existed, I was an Advanced Solutions Architect, which was the highest level of architecture apart from the Manager and Director roles. My role was very similar to the one described above, except that I also worked with small and mid-sized businesses. I provided technical expertise, performed discovery, built custom solutions, facilitated contract execution, and handed off to our technical team.When the Enterprise Solutions Architect position was created, I was promoted to the position based on excellent performance with the Fortune 500 companies I had worked with as an Advanced Solutions Architect. I trained the solutions architect who would replace me, as well as many other architects who moved on to different roles in the company.

I performed Tier 1 and Tier 2 tech support for Verizon's One Talk VoIP systems, which were supported by CSG. I also performed remote network surveys to qualify potential One Talk customers for VoIP. I learned how to do most of this on my first day at Connected Solutions Group, and started taking support tickets by myself on my second day of training.As Connected Solutions Group began to focus more on cellular routers, I added these to my subject matter expertise and started troubleshooting them as well, which led to my becoming an architect.When I moved into architecture, I trained my replacements in both the One Talk and Cellular Router support categories.

I worked at a technical support help desk, where I simplified technology for those who needed help understanding it, found solutions to problems, and coordinated with dispatch teams to send field techs out when necessary.

I developed and maintained Bellas Artes' social media pages. I also advised our director with reports on the usefulness of various technology to our teaching and provided support to faculty if they had trouble with any of the technology we use.

I taught individual lessons to over 50 students each week. My studio had a high amount of diversity in terms of age, interest, personality, goals, and learning style. I taught ages from pre-school to elderly, and I taught the majority of the special needs students at Bellas Artes. In order to accommodate the needs of each student, I customized each of my lessons.A typical year for me involved training my students for Parlor Concerts, Spring Recitals, and (for some) Achievement In Music (AIM) tests. The Parlor Concert is a small recital held in the home of one of my students. I usually ran 2-5 of these per year. The Spring Recitals were bigger events held in a venue where my students learned to perform in front of 200 or so audience members. The AIM tests were administered by the Music Teachers National Association. Every year, I taught several of my students how to take the two annual tests, and all of them passed.

I performed product tests and documented results that were used by our engineers to create new products.

I taught chess classes to groups of about 10-15 elementary school students at different abilities as part of an after school program.

I fulfilled orders for tracts, bibles, and books.

Most of what I did was data entry. However, I also did some troubleshooting: analyzing new programs, finding potential weaknesses, and working with programmers to optimize system performance.I also took on a project where I researched possible ways to add new methods to our workflow process; I then explained the possible benefits and drawbacks of the new methods in a written proposal used to inform the decisions of the company president.

I was individually responsible for maintenance of shelving sections. In one of these sections, I brought up to my supervisors a way to increase the aesthetic appeal and shelving space of my section. My ideas were approved, and I led a project to arrange the shelves according to the new layout.In addition, I bought, priced, and sold books, cleaned the store, and worked at the cash register.

I stocked shelves, ran a cash register, and provided customer service.

I helped students, faculty, and staff borrow media equipment from the Wheaton college by using the Equipment Circulation inventory system. In addition, I tested and maintained hardware and software, made "house calls" around campus to people who needed help with their equipment, and gave tutorials to people who needed to quickly learn how to use cameras, computers, etc.

I was in the Wheaton College Men's Glee Club for the four years while I was in college.In 2010, I was elected to the cabinet as the Social Chairman. My main task was to plan and organize a choir banquet on a $9,000 budget. In addition, I organized choir events and intramural sports. I was also appointed musical leader for the bass section.In 2011, I was elected to the dual role of Vice President and Chaplain. As Vice President, I worked with the director and the president to oversee the Men's Glee Club cabinet and the Men's Glee Club as a whole. As the Chaplain, I organized and led weekly devotions as well as a separate small group to provide support and spiritual guidance for the members of the Glee Club.In 2011 I was also made Honors Conductor for the Glee Club. In this position, I conducted a piece at the Wheaton College Festival of Faith for a 3,000+ person audience. I also conducted one of my own compositions at the Men's Glee Club home concert.

The Community Life Council was a dormitory leadership team composed of one representative from each floor. Together we planned and supervised dorm events, welcomed and counseled incoming Freshmen, and assisted the dorm's Resident Advisors towards facilitating floor community.As president, my most challenging task was to organize an all-dorm event that had separate events on each floor. The most difficult part of this was finding out how to feed 500+ students without any funds. I ended up calling local restaurants to ask if they would be willing to donate food in order to develop good relationships with the students in the dorms. The restaurants liked the idea of being able to get their name out to students who would be looking for places in the area to eat, so they donated enough food to feed everyone.Persuaded local restaurants to donate enough food to feed 500 people at one event

I taught class piano lessons to students with ages ranging from 5 to 60. Some of these classes were student-parent pairs, so I taught parents how to work with their children. Outside of the classroom, I was communicating with parents about music, discipline issues, and how to inspire their children.

I packaged mobile phones so they would be ready to ship. This was my first job - I was fourteen years old when I started.
