Led a 62-person team to secure a $500M infrastructure comprised of 7 networks serving 70K users. Advised senior leaders of cybersecurity capital requirements. Executed over $5M in contracts. Provided cybersecurity experts and best-practices for use across the USSOCOM global enterprise. Directed development of cybersecurity policy, training and awareness campaigns.

Led a 209-person unit in the operation and maintenance of a $500M intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance processing and dissemination system for 700 users. Established a repeatable process to review $1.4B in proposed IT requirements. Orchestrated recurring system and network upgrades.

Led a 39-person team to provide Air Operations Center systems and secure networks used for air defense of NORAD's Alaska Region. Acted as primary advisor to the Commander of the PACAF Regional Support Center on IT and communications issues salient to Alaska, Hawaii, and Wake Island air defense missions. Represented IT equities during solicitation and execution of three contracts ($607M) supporting 24 sites.

Oversaw daily system and communications support operations for Alaska NORAD Region’s 24/7 Air Operations Center. Acted in division chief’s absence. Executed a $1.4M annual operating budget, and managed a $126M IT portfolio. Laid the foundation for an active cyber defense and response capability for the Air Operations Center.

Recruited, trained, motivated and counseled high-performing college students as prospective Air Force officers. Managed a $12.5K recruiting budget. Promoted Air Force career opportunities at job fairs, universities and high schools. Developed curriculum and instructed a freshman-level course on Foundations of the USAF. Trained Unit Admissions Officers from eight Ohio-area Air Force ROTC detachments.

Led a culturally diverse, 40-person team to deliver IT equipment and services to 4.7K Coalition users. Routinely advocated for organizational IT requirements at U.S. and NATO budget prioritization boards. Established a just-in-time method to refresh a $3.5M revolving IT inventory. Managed the theater’s only Coalition Blackberry service and expanded its use to other divisions.

Led a 5-person team to deliver collaboration tools to 9.5K research leaders, scientists and engineers using the organization’s $11M enterprise business system. Developed information architectures, plans, and policies to ensure the capture of basic research. Organized recurring councils for the Air Force Research Laboratory’s 10 Chief Information Officers to address enterprise IT issues.

Served in several junior leadership roles in the field of communications and information to include planning; engineering and infrastructure; airfield systems; ground radio; personal wireless communications; networking; COMSEC management; and service delivery. Served as Executive Secretary to a Communications Group Commander, as well as Chief of the Unit Control Center (incident response team), and Anit-terrorism Officer (chief of physical security).
