Peter Curtis is a best-selling author, award winning producer and creator of children’s characters, books and television series known and loved around the world.With over a million book sales to his name, Peter is the creator and author of the incredibly successful children’s book series, The World of Dinosaur Roar! published by Macmillan Children’s Books and produced in association with the Natural History Museum in the UK and the Smithsonian Institution in the United States.Peter has written or co-written 15 books so far in The World of Dinosaur Roar! series including Dinosaur Roar and Friends! which was specially created for the 25th Anniversary of World Book Day 2022. His latest book, What Dinosaur Am I? is frequently in the best-selling books for children on dinosaurs.Prior to creating The World of Dinosaur Roar!, Peter spent over 25 years working in children’s media. He was Executive Producer of the original television series Bob The Builder, and the multi award winning series The Koala Brothers. He is the creator of the pre-school television series Rubbadubbers. Born in South Wales, Peter graduated from the University of Wales, Cardiff with a Bachelor of Music degree before embarking on a career in television.Today Peter is the Founder and Creative Director of UK based production company, Nurture Rights and writes from his home in Hove on the East Sussex coast.
