With extensive experience across many facets of the logistics industry, including bulk tanker deliveries for dangerous goods, milk and chemicals, fleet management, contract logistics, interstate freight and involvement with the entertainment industry moving theatre shows around the country.Attention to detail – Logistics is all about ‘attention to detail’, ensuring our customers receive the correct stock in pristine condition, keeping timeslots and arriving when requested. I have found that customers want to work with logistic providers who understand their business and service the critical needs they have. Continual improvement focused – If you stand still you fall behind, looking for ways to improve your service particularly in those areas that impact your customers experience is important. I am passionate about finding more efficient ways to service a client’s needs – During my years I have found many ways to both improve productivity and reduce costs. Whilst at KCA I introduced a fleet of forklifts that were able to handle two pallets in a lift, this reduced loading times dramatically, which enabled the fleet to increase the number of loads completed in a day. At Castrol we re-designed our bulk oil runs reducing run times and increasing capacity.
