o Providing specialist technical support to plant/laboratory personnel o Generating and implementation of new test methodso Responsible for stock control of equipment and chemicals within the pilot plant using SAPo Collection of volatile samples from the plant on a daily basiso Conducting plant trials and liaising with engineers and process operatorso Producing trial reportso Developing test methodso Implementation of Laboratory 5S standardso Taking lead roles in investigationso Carrying out cost saving projectso Issuing Permit to Work Certificates.

o Narrowing down of out of specification final product.o Environmental analysis of pumped effluents making sure they met consent limits set by the EA.o Sampling routine water samples from the planto Calibration and maintenance of laboratory and plant instruments, as well as the preparation and management of standards and solutions.o Use of the laboratory instruments including XRF, Atomic Absorption Spectrometer, Beckman UV/VIS Spectrophotometer, Centrifuges & Colorimeters.o Wet Chemistry Titrationso Categorisation of Final product material for the marketing department.o Stack emission testing (MCERTS)
