Started as Sales Engineer Signal & Data section providing support for the growing division. From late 09 took over managementof the Signal & Data portfolio for Australia & New Zealand including Ethernet portfolio, Sensor Actuator Interface products, and Signal Isolators and converters.

Establish a Sydney sales office and future reputable name for the Qld based company. Initially covering Red Lion Controls products, Fiessler light curtains, CL Encoders, Riese safety relays and PULS power supplies and later grew to include ABB VSD's, P+B motor protection relays, N-Tron Ethernet Switches, Novaris Surge & Lightning Protection. Company grew to adding 3 sales representatives, whilst growing market position and reputable name over my tenure.

Working from Home, sold all products in the South M4 area incl western NSW. Products included inductive, photo-electric, and ultrasonic sensors and leads etc in the Fatory Automation division. Process Automation division included Intrinsic safety Isolators, Zener Barriers, Indicators, Isolators and Level Control.In 98 moved into solely Process Automation division covering NSW working on purely I.S customers and projects. In 99 became Sales Manager and still maintaing PA customer focus.

Initially started launching their range of refrigeration controllers, but due to delays in product arrival started selling all products including temperature sensors, controllers, indicators, I-P's, Infrared sensors, and associated parts.All sales to end users, project engineers, consultants etc.

Ashfield

Started on the Monday after year 10 finished as a trainee. Apprenticeship as an Electrical Instrument fitter started in 82. Manufactured moving coil, moving iron and dynamometer watt meters. job covered winding coils, straightening spindles ( the worst) building, calibrating to completion. Moved to Electronics section manufacturing power transducers prior to a move to University Paton Instruments where Paton Electrical was bought out by Jack Rutherford and joined with a recent purchase of University Graham Instruments and moved to Riverwood. Moved to Production manager of Electronic section and adding AWA lighting division. Moved to sales in 1990 and on the road in 1991 before being retrenched with all employee's with long service prior to the instrument company being wound down and sold to an electonics company for our component division.
