As a police lieutenant at the City of Albuquerque, the oversight of operations and personnel in a "watch" falls under my responsibility. This includes monitoring the activity of up to three sergeants and their teams ensuring proactive and productive police service is provided. A first-generation officer who has carved a self-made path, my 20-year journey in law enforcement began as a patrol officer, advancing to the rank of sergeant, and culminated in my current role as lieutenant. Proficient in police procedures, law enforcement, and community policing, I bring essential skills to my role. Core competencies encompass leadership, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.
