1. Responsible for final preparation of University-wide financial reports for internal and external requirements.2. Coordinate and supervise preparation of bondholder reports in compliance with indenture requirements.3. Consult with the Controller on University-wide system implementations to insure compliance with policies and procedures and consistency with accounting practices. 4. Represent the Office of University Accounting & Financial Reporting on University and external teams regarding financial reporting.5. Coordinate and analyze University-wide data and prepare reports for upper management to keep them apprised of current financial performance and practices.6. Supervise the preparation of analytical reports to insure compliance with State of Illinois and University policy, guidelines, and procedures.7. Participate in the development and review of financial policies and procedures.8. Monitor the three campuses’ compliance with State of Illinois and University Policy and procedures as they relate to general financial issues and reporting requirements.9. Interface with internal and external auditors to assist in resolution of University-wide financial audit issues and the completion of the annual financial audit.10. Responsible for review of University-wide reporting practices and recommendation of procedure/format changes.11. Oversee and approve reconciliation of University transactions to insure data integrity for financial statement presentations.
