Responsible for overseeing 4 first and second line support administrators and managing third party suppliers.Achievements: • Migrated 70+ physical servers to a Microsoft Hyper-V virtualisation platform. Using Microsoft Windows Clustered servers and SAN storage solutions• Migrated the Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure across 7 sites from Windows 2000 to Windows 2008 R2• Setup of an office in Wroclaw, Poland including new server and network infrastructure• Eradicated a severe Conficker virus infection across the network. This included a business wide Anti-virus upgrade

Initially the role was that of a Technical Network Manager responsible for the delivery and development of all IT and communications services. This migrated into a business focused role after staff re-organisation. Also line management of a small support team.Achievements:• Implementation of an in-house data backup solution that significantly reduced annual overheads from a third party solution• Development of disaster recovery and business continuity plan• Eliminated the need for a third party 1st and 2nd line support contract• Relocated the head office, at short notice, due to a company merger with Mackenzie Stuart Plc. This involved the merging of all company Active Directory and network infrastructures. After the infrastructure merge was completed the merger of the two businesses was cancelled. This resulted in the planning and implementation of another office move, included the upgrade of the Server operating system and the implementation of an in-house Microsoft Exchange email system• Relocation of the London office
