I am tasked with leading major new technology initiatives, both internal and customer/partner focused, for Teladoc, the first and largest telehealth provider in the nation. I consult on joint venture opportunities, perform due diligence for acquisitions and strategize on implementation options for new products and services. I architected and managed multiple successful acquisition integrations into the Teladoc platform for Consult a Doctor, Ameridoc, StatDoctors and HealthiestYouI assisted in the re-architecting of Teladoc’s application platform to achieve massive scalability and flexible data integration with clients and partners, allowing Teladoc to establish real time eligibility connectivity with multiple large health care payers for eligibility and cost data, real time e-prescribing functionality and SSO options. These improvements allow our mobile app to be best in class, Teladoc to win clients, and driven down costs significantly for the organization.I managed the integration of Teladoc services via API into health insurance organizations interested in embedding the Teladoc experience. Oscar insurance is a flagship example – Teladoc’s API has granted Oscar members tremendous ease of access to Teladoc’s physicians.I have and continue to act as an internal operations consultant to the organization, discovering efficiency opportunities and defining technical solutions.
