Chris's most recent publication is Cultural Governance: Current and Future European Perspectives, edited with Elena Theodoulou Charalambous and Geert Drion. He was the inaugural Master of the Guild of Media Arts and subsequently served as Clerk. He has held numerous Trustee and Company Directorships for Arts Council funded companies and creative enterprises. Chris has carried out research and consultancy in cultural development in the UK and beyond, including work for the government of Cyprus, the South African Department of Arts Culture Science and Technology, Johannesburg Development Agency, Newcastle and Gateshead Councils, the UK museums body Re:source, and the Dartington Hall Trust. He holds a professorial title, has founded research centres in cultural policy and creative technology, and has made made practical contributions to cultural governance in three English regions.
