- Researched various image processing techniques and algorithms for machine vision inspection systems. These included inspection for measurement and cosmetic purposes on electrical components, housings, screws, strings, logos, labels and air gaps below labels. Algorithms developed from scratch in C++ using Matrox Imaging Library.- Manipulated optics to create the best possible environment for image acquisition.- Used Java language to develop from scratch a windows service application to automatically convert, package and transfer inspection results from inspection machines to verification and buy-off stations.- Wrote Macros in Microsoft Excel to automate certain processes involved in displaying results from inspection machines.- Swiftly modified the software to satisfy customer requests within a limited time limit.- Customer site support for machine setup, support and occasional training.
